Felt Making Termly Block (B5)

Service Description

Suitable for beginners although I would recommend an 'introduction to Feltmaking' session before you embark on your felting journey. (check day session listing for availability) These 9 week blocks explore and advance various felt making techniques as we go throughout the term. The course plan for this block starting after Easter is still 'under construction'. Do chat with me if your not sure. We tend to cover wet felting, needle felting on a previously wet felted backgrounds and a put in some 3D needle felted usually a creature at the end of term. If your looking to get a hold on how the wet felting process works you can achieve that through a block. Sessions start at 10 and technically finish at 12.30 (though give yourself a window on that time) Its a lovely group of ladies who already do this block, feel free to bob in on a Tuesday before we hit half term and check us out. Some weeks you may find bits of stitch or fulling that can be finished at home. New Students: Do book here, however to fully secure your space email in to arrange a deposit please (£40 - refundable if cancelled up to 2 weeks before start date). I sometimes limit available places on the website, as current students get first refusal for the next block. Do email in if it appears that there's no places. Full payment of course fees is due 2 weeks before the block starts. Continuing students: Feel free to book here and pay using the BAC's details already supplied. (2 weeks before start date please).

Cancellation Policy

Sessions and courses are subject to minimum head count before they run. Need to cancel a place, no problem... The Textile Studio - Courses: Places can be cancelled and refunded up to 7 days before, no quibbles. Day/2 day Workshops: Places can be cancelled and refunded up to 48 hours before. If we cancel: A full refund will be issued If you cancel please note - this booking site retains approximately 2% of the booking amount, as a small business and CIC please supports us here and anticipate this will be reflected in any refund amounts.
