Have a go Craft - Choose your weeks!

Service Description

If we have taken a lot of bookings and some sessions are full, please do register for spots on the waiting list. Wks 4/8 have a spot. Have a go Craft is a weekly craft learning and social session that runs on a Thursday. (See About page for more info) What processes and crafts will the sessions cover? Think surfaces - printing, felt making, stitch, even some ceramics. The only thing Maria doesn't teach is knitting and crochet. We believe that 'making' and creative engagement can help with your well-being and sense of self. At only £3, the sessions are affordable to all due to the financial support provided to Creative Ties CIC from the Cheshire Community Foundation. How to book:  We have tried to make these sessions flexible so you can book all or just a few, as well as cancel and rearrange easily. Sessions can be booked here week by week or in bundles until the end of September. (To book the full term go to the 'full summer block' booking option on the Service List) Book here on the studio website or at the Meet and greet on 7th Aug (see below) To avoid disappointment, if you are coming in on the 7th to book in person, please check to see if we have already moved to a waiting list. 1. To book here - start by looking at the session plan and note the dates you fancy. (below) 2. Set yourself up a Log-in 3. Buy a pricing plan ie: 8 credits = 8 sessions or say just buy 3. (Note: credits are valid until the last date of this spring block) 4. Using the calendar, select the right date (or search for the next free slot), book some or all of the sessions you fancy using your credits. You can only select 1 session at a time as you book. Feel free to book them all ahead so you are sure you can get the sessions you want.  Meet and greet | Monday 7th Aug 1-3pm: Maria will be in the studio if you want to come by, chat, book and get familiar with the studio and what goes on. Classes: wk 1: 10th Aug – Mini wet felting wk 2: 17th Aug – Cyanotype printing - printing with bits, bobs and plants. wk 3: 24th Aug – Creative sewing - Applique wk 4: 31st Aug – Sewing to make - scrappy clip frame purses wk 5: 7th Sept – Clay with Debs - Brooches and buttons (8 spots only - slots 9/10 will be on a WL) wk 6: 14th Sept – Silk screen printing on creative collages wk 7: 21st Sept – Funky Image transfer & Stitch wk 8: 28th Sept - Lino printing for Christmas wrap Please note: Funding for the Have a go Craft covers WA postcodes and is subject to employment/benefit status.

Cancellation Policy

Sessions and courses are subject to minimum head count before they run. Need to cancel a place, no problem... The Textile Studio - Courses: Places can be cancelled and refunded up to 7 days before, no quibbles. Day/2 day Workshops: Places can be cancelled and refunded up to 48 hours before. If we cancel: A full refund will be issued If you cancel please note - this booking site retains approximately 2% of the booking amount, as a small business and CIC please supports us here and anticipate this will be reflected in any refund amounts.
