Intro to Sewing Machines | Day session

Service Description

Lets get you to grips with how your sewing machine works... We will cover what all the parts of your machine do, what tension is and how to change it and explore what stitches you can create with your machine. Before you leave, we will make sure you are confident with how to thread up your machine, bobbin winding and how to create the perfect stitch, including how to neatly start and finish a line of stitching. You will also get to try your hand at a little bit of applique. This will be a small group session or no more than 4 people so I can spend as much time with you and your machine as possible.

Cancellation Policy

Sessions and courses are subject to minimum head count before they run. Need to cancel a place, no problem... The Textile Studio - Courses: Places can be cancelled and refunded up to 7 days before, no quibbles. Day/2 day Workshops: Places can be cancelled and refunded up to 48 hours before. If we cancel: A full refund will be issued If you cancel please note - this booking site retains approximately 2% of the booking amount, as a small business and CIC please supports us here and anticipate this will be reflected in any refund amounts.
